22 weeks, 4 days

Our sincere apologies to all the regular readers for not updating sooner! A lot has gone on these past few weeks.
Rebekah is almost 23 weeks now and has begun feeling very pregnant! She started having some minor contractions a little over a week ago, but didn't realize they were contractions until the day before Thanksgiving. She was a bit worried at first, but the doctor's nurse assurred her they were just Braxton Hicks contractions and were not frequent enough to cause concern.
Cory finally felt the baby move for the first time on Thanksgiving night. Rebekah first felt the baby at 16 weeks, but she has become increasingly active in the past three weeks.
Rebekah has had to stop running almost completely due to the little girl thinking Mommy's bladder is a trampoline! She is still able to walk and use the elyptical at the gym, but running is no longer possible.
Yesterday we took a trip to Birmingham to celebrate our anniversary and we bought a bunch of cute baby clothes at a Carter's outlet. It was really fun to look at all the cute outfits and realize that soon our little baby will be wearing them! Two weekends ago we took the big step and purchased a crib and dresser/changing table combo. We were rather picky when it came to furniture because we want solid hardwood and places around here don't sell quality furniture. We drove about an hour to a huge furniture warehouse in the middle of nowhere and found a great set. We won't actually get them until January, but at least we finally made a decision!
Rebekah's next doctor's appointment is December 6th, so we'll post another update after that. For now, here's the latest belly shot, taken tonight at 22 weeks, 4 days.
