Happy 4th of July and Happy 4 months!

What a week it has been! After a serious emergency last Sunday, we are especially thankful for the celebration of Katelyn's four month birthday! After giving her formula for the first time on Sunday night, Katelyn had an episode of Anaphylaxis due to what we believe was a severe allergic reaction to milk. We went to the ER in an ambulance but the doctors there wouldn't give a firm diagnosis of what happened. We will follow up with her pediatrician tomorrow and find out what her future holds as far as foods, etc. It was the scariest night of our lives and we were reminded just how precious life is.
Katelyn celebrated her first fourth of July this week. We went to a block party with friends from Cory's squadron where some of the guys set off fireworks after dark. Katelyn didn't seem to mind the fireworks, but she couldn't fall asleep during them and for that she was a bit grouchy!


She has started reaching for a lot of her toys.
