Our time in California has almost come to an end. We've had lots more fun since our trip to San Diego. Here are a few pictures to summarize the rest of August!
We went to an ostrich farm. Katelyn loved seeing the ostriches.
Katelyn and Ryleigh are buddies!
Katelyn has trouble staying in her big girl bed. She sits on the floor by the door to read and play and then just falls asleep when she gets tired.
Huntington Gardens in Pasadena. The gardens were beautiful and Katelyn loved smelling the flowers.
Part of the beautiful rose gardens.
More of the rose gardens.
Katelyn wanted to smell all the roses.
Beautiful Japanese garden.
"Look at the big fish, Mommy!"
A Japanese house.
The desert gardens.
Those spikes would HURT!
Such a big girl!
Fun at the park!
I seriously can't believe she is big enough to do this by herself! What happened to my little baby?!
She was so proud of herself!
Uh oh! You mean the markers aren't supposed to go on ME?!
The county fair was in town and Katelyn had a blast visiting all the animals.
She loved holding the baby chicks. She wanted to hold one of every color.
We went to Sequoia National Forest for the weekend. Katelyn was so excited to see all the big trees. She loved the beautiful scenery and the HUGE pine cones.
BIG pinecone!
She loved going through "the tunnel."
General Grant.

Hume Lake again in the morning.
A pinecone for Daddy.
